people in general have a tendency to cleanse their thoughts of guilt. It's the fancy "It's not you, it's me" line but deep down inside, it's like... you were really good to me but I'm enjoying another form of attention so much that I'm being unbelievably selfish." - Patricia prima
Yes… Kyle and I broke up. Not a good thing now that I got laid off work. YES I got laid off. I have nothing! How great is that? I'm back to zero. I don't want to disclose the details because I would start crying again, which I refuse to do. I think I had shed a lot of tears already. Just like what Carrie said in Sex in the city "You get certain amount of tears per man". I will be ok. Life will be ok. Happiness will come again. I just have to face this darkness that came upon me. I have to face this and all that jazz!

Fun Fun Fun!!!

It's has been a great two weeks for me. I finally got to hangout with friends that I've haven't seen in 6 years. Nikki called emailed me a month before she arrives. Luckily enough that I got to have 2 weeks off work that months. So I called Menzie and Marco so we could all hang out like the old days.
I decided to pick Menzi up at her house in Long Beach, CA before I head to LA. I didn't want to drive alone so I asked my friends Ars to join me and she said yes but she said she wants to spend time with her family. Just so happened that Ars's mom lives a block away from Menzie so it worked out pretty . Menzie and I headed our way to LA after dropping off Ars. It was about an hour drive due to traffic. Finally in LA, we met up with Alec and Nikki, and about an hour later Marco and his 7 months pregnant wife arrived. We all had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory with the gang and some of Alec's friends. After dinner… Marco, his wife, and I got a small hotel room where we can get rest and get ready for the club that night. Later, we all went to a club called Area where by the way "WOMEN ARE NOT FREE"!
I was shocked that I didn't got that wasted since I've been drinking since 3:00pm that day. Maybe I was just having too much fun. After clubbin' we went to Alec's friends house to jo
in their party. We stayed there for couple of hours. Most of the people in the house are Asian (Shockingly enough! LOL). It's funny how they were amazed how survived living in the Philippines after I told them my childhood story. It was a very fun night. The next day we all went to china town to eat, and Santee to shop. I went back to Long Beach to drop Menzie off and pick up Ars so we could go back home. Not even a quarter of the trip… I was feeling really anxious, dizzy, and a serious case of palpitation. I know it serious because I asked Ars if she can take me to the hospital. We couldn't go the hospital because we both need to be at work early morning. So she made sure I drank a gallon of water and excrete the alcohol out of me. LOL! It was alcohol poisoning. 3 days of drinking is no longer for my body. Ars told me that I am not 21 anymore and I should stop excessive drinking. I got home safe with a lesson learned.Luckily enough I have a project in Long Island that week. I met up with Nikki, Ingrid, and Kari that Friday and went around Manhattan. Kari had to go home so Nikki, Ingrid, and I waited for Kyle to get off work so we could all eat at Babo's restaurant around Soho area. Nikki is out in NY because she wanted to try famous Italian and Japanese's cuisine because she is about to open couple of restaurants in the Philippines. The next day Kyle and I went pick up Nikki and Ingrid at her aunts house then went to Queens to pick up Kari. We all drove back out to the City and look for the Chelsea market. After the market place, Kyle and I dropped off Nikki and Ingrid at JFK to catch their flight back to Virginia. Then dropped Kari off her house.
I could had stayed in New York for Thanksgiving but my office have a huge meeting schedules that Thanksgiving week. So I flew back to Vegas Sunday evening. Couple of days later I picked up Kyle from the airport. After spending Thanksgiving in Las Vegas, Kyle and I drove to San Diego and went to Sea World. This was the best 2 weeks ever. :)Wednesday, March 11, 2009

Just when I thought real love wouldn't come around my way. I know it cliché but I'll say it anyway : I am the luckiest woman in the world! I met Kyle at the Las Vegas Palms Casino March of 2007. I was suppose to meet someone at a club called moon and Kyle was suppose to go inside the same club but he was wearing white sneakers . I end up not meeting the guy and decided to just still at a bar and play some slots machine. 30 mins later Kyle sat right next to me and ask what I was playing. I didn't really paid attention at first, then he asked me the same exact question in a span of a min. I thought it was cute. Then I looked at him and saw his big brown eye. I was mesmerized. It got even more interesting when he told me his name was Kyle. Since I was a kid I already made up my mind that if I had a son I was going to name him Kyle. I just thought it was crazy. Then he told me he was from New York. My first thoughts was "great! Just when you met the perfect guy!". Anyway, he told me he's in Las Vegas to celebrate his sister's engagement and he will be in Vegas for 4 days. Just so happen I have 4 days off work so we end up spending the best 4 days of my life! I was reluctant to start a relationship with somebody that lives 2,500 miles, but what the hell, the chemistry is SO there!
I had to admit, it is REALLY hard to have a long distance relationship; dropping each other at the airport, not seeing each other, not being able to share special moments together. I thought it will get better as time comes but that wasn't the case. I'm just so lucky that I have a great job that allows us to see each other every now and then. I could be worse. We both will need to be extra strong compare to normal relationship. The trust and loyalty needs to be there. Sure we have our down moments, but if the love is strong…we know we can make it through.
We've have talked about our situation and we both agreed that if the right time comes that we will settle in Long Island. He didn't think Las Vegas is a good place to live and so do I. I fell in love with Long Island the moment I step foot in it. The greatest thing about this city is that you can drive 30 mins to New York City or you can drive 30 mins to the beach! Its so perfect!
I'm currently in New York to celebrate our 2nd Yr. anniversary. I couldn't believe it's been that long. It seems like yesterday because I still feel the butterfly in my stomach just like the first day I met him.

My skinny days in Aloha!
Bitter Sweet
2006
I'm going to start of my post with a bitter sweet memory. This is Jeff, my first relationship...my ex-boyfriend. Just like all relationships, we have our ups and downs (mostly down). I will need a whole new blog if I tell the whole story about us. Most of my closest friends and family know what I have been through, and saw my how I made it through, I'll just leave it at that.
begining of a new blog...
You all must be wondering why I chose a title such as "hackneyed plot". :) I have probably created 10 blogs since 1998 and none of them are no longer active. For some reason I always get tired of the name or the content (true Gemini huh?). But seriously… I don't want my blog to be all cliché! It took me about half an hour go create a blogspot site name. It seems like all the blog title ideas are taken. I hope it doesn't sound lame. I think this works for me just fine! Now it's time for a fresh blog. I will try to post most of what had happened to me in the past 2 years just because I have pictures to post and stories to tell. I guess my life just got interesting in the past couple of years. And from then on, I will create one post every week. Mostly likely this page will contain pictures of places, events, and thing that I had done week by week. I will post videos every now and then, and just a brief story on how my week went.
